INDEPENDENT CATERER OF THE YEAR

This category covers all independent catering companies that supply food within the wedding industry.  You should cover all aspects from the wedding breakfast to the evening party food.

To be considered as a possible finalist or winner, you will need to provide the following information within the order it is presented to you below.  Please ensure you answer every point in full so that you qualify as an entry and present your business in the very best possible way. Remember to provide the full name, address and website address of your company.

 All entrants must have been trading for a minimum of 12 months at the time of judging (October 2020) and be based in Essex.

 1. Detail all types of food you provide. For example BBQ, Pizza, Hog roast etc. The wedding Breakfast must be included in this to qualify.  Please supply samples of your menus and prices including packages.

2. Describe your consultation process and how you work with the couple to achieve their planned budget.

3. Provide your hygiene certificates, and qualification certificates of your chef. Detail your chef’s background. Please provide any testimonials.

4. Tell us how you cater for food allergies and special dietary requirements.

5. You may provide food on the judging day at Fennes Estate on Tuesday 13 October. This will be cold canapes and desserts only.

6.Please provide brochures and marketing details and any testimonials you may have.
